1970 Corvette

This is the shops Racecar. It was originally purchased in 2008 as a parts car but Jason quickly had other ideas about its fate. The car is now powered by a 396cu in small block which makes approx. 500hp. It has a host of suspension upgrades, 315 tires all the way around and with a curb weight of under 3000lbs this car can hold its own against any new Vette on the track!

1969 Corvette

This car originally came to Western Corvette around 2010 for a GM crate 454 engine swap. More recently it came back in with a new owner who wanted a little more driveability from the car…not to mention a little extra power. The perfect solution was to build a 496cu in stroker, swap in a 5 speed manual and install some new wheels and tires. The end result is a very eye catching and super fun to drive C3 Corvette.

1968 Corvette Convertible

This car was one of the first over the top customs built here at Western Corvette. It came to us 3 years ago as a fairly tired race car recently purchased by a new owner. The car had some nice race car fabrication but was under powered with a poorly built small block as well as some other issues. The parts started rolling in and what we have now is a full blown, show stopping monster. The car is powered by a 600hp LSX 454, with GM fuel injection. Backing it is a built TKO-600 and upgraded differential from Tom’s Differentials. The first thing many people notice are the wheels, they are a custom 3-piece Boze Forged wheel, 18x10 in the front and 20x14 in the rear! Hauling it all to a stop are huge 14” Wilwood brakes, 6 piston calipers, and a hydra-boost set up from Vette Brakes. Of course all of this would mean nothing if it didn’t handle, so underneath the car is a custom coilover set up in the rear and Vansteel’s coilovers in the front, handling the steering is a rack and pinion from Speed Direct. In the interior the list goes on and on, with a host of goodies from Autometer, Hurst, and Billet Specialties among others. Lastly, tying everything together and strengthening the whole package is a beautiful chrome harness bar made by Western Corvette.

2003 Z06 Corvette

The owner of this vehicle came to us wanting to make more power. He didn’t want just a simple bolt on supercharger, he wanted to upgrade the entire engine so that it could handle the boost we were hoping to make. A plan was made and the goal was 500hp to the wheels. Custom Diamond pistons, K1 Tech rods, a camshaft and valve train from Comp and most importantly a Magnuson supercharger was ordered. The engine was assembled and built to run 12-14 lbs. of boost. At that level the car made 505hp and 540 ft. lbs of torque to the tire! The best part is that it is an extremely reliable and streetable combination. Could you probably make this much power with a stock bottom end? Honestly, you probably could, but an engine is only as good as its weakest parts. That is what makes this combination so great, it is fast and powerful but also streetable and bulletproof! No worries about melting pistons, breaking ring lands etc. Just hit the key and go!
